How the IRATA training course can prepare you for an offshore rope access job

Two offshore engineers use industrial rope access to carry out a safety inspection.

The offshore industry is a titan that presents a unique set of challenges. Very few jobs require workers to travel hundreds of miles from dry land and carry out complex work in such a potentially hazardous environment.

One of the main hazards associated with working offshore is the great heights at which work must sometimes be completed. This work can include structural maintenance such as painting or welding, carrying out safety inspections, and more.

Workers must be able to carry out their work safely and efficiently without being impeded by the heights some jobs require. That’s where industrial rope access comes in.

In this blog post, we will break down the key ways in which our IRATA Rope Access Training Courses can equip you with the essential skills and techniques you need to tackle challenging offshore rope access jobs as a certified rope access technician.
